    An AI reads the original text of every ad, compares it with the fields the source site recorded and corrects whatever is wrong or missing:

    • Price: per-m² figures become totals, old lek is divided by 10, placeholders like "€1" are dropped
    • Sale or rent, when the ad was filed under the wrong category
    • Rooms (2+1), bathrooms, floor area, floor and year built
    • City and neighbourhood under one standard name: "tek Don Boskoja" becomes Don Bosko
    • Owner or agency, furnishing, lift, parking
    • "Wanted" posts and ads that offer no property are removed

From 10 Albanian portals, agencies and classifieds sites: MerrJep, DuaShpi.al, FutureHome, Njoftime.com, Gazeta Çelësi, Shpi.al and 4 other portals. New ads are pulled every 3 hours and ones the source has removed disappear here too. Nothing is published on Prona itself: every listing opens on the site where the owner or agency posted it.
What does the AI do with the listings?
It reads the original text of every ad, as the owner or agency wrote it, and compares it with the fields the source site recorded. Where the text clearly shows a field is wrong or missing, it corrects it: price, sale or rent, rooms, bathrooms, floor area, floor, city, neighbourhood, year built, furnishing, lift, parking and whether the seller is the owner or an agency. "Wanted" posts and ads that offer no property are removed from the results.
Does the AI change prices?
Only when the ad’s own text proves the recorded price wrong: €2,100 on a 120 m² apartment is the price per m², so €252,000 in total; "2 million lek rent" is old lek, so 20,000 lek; "42 thousand euro" recorded as €42. Placeholders like €1 or €123 are dropped altogether. Every correction is stored field by field with the value before and after. The price stays the asking price from the ad, never an estimate.
Why do the filters work better than on the portal?
Because they filter normalised data: one neighbourhood has one name, rooms are numbers rather than free text, floor area is in m² and price in euro. The price-per-m² statistics are computed only over listings the AI has checked, so the area median and the deal flags are not skewed by ads with a wrong price. 79,148 live listings go through this process.
